all student and exchange visitor applicants are required to be accepted
and approved for their program. When accepted, educational institutions
and program sponsors will provide each applicant the necessary approval documentation,

Qualifying for a Student Visa
The Immigration and National Act is very specific with regard to
the requirements which must be met by applicants to qualify for
the student visa. The consular officer will determine whether
you qualify for the visa. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate that
they properly meet student visa requirements including
Have a residence abroad, with no immediate intention of abandoning that residence;
Intend to depart from the United States upon completion of the course of study; and
Possess sufficient funds to pursue the proposed course of study.

Required Documentation
Each applicant for a student visa must submit these forms
and documentation as explained below.


Form I-20A-B, Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (F-1) Student Status-For Academic
and Language Students or Form I-20M-N, Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (M-1) Student Status
for Vocational Students. You will need to submit a SEVIS generated Form, I-20, which was provided to you by your school
You and your school official must sign the I-20 form. See the previous section for SEVIS information.
Online Non-immigrant Visa Electronic Application, Form DS-160.A MRV fee receipt to show payment of the visa application fee.The SEVIS I-901 fee receipt.

All applicants should be prepared to provide:
Transcripts and diplomas from previous institutions attended;

Scores from standardized tests required by the educational institution such as the TOEFL, SAT, GRE, GMAT, etc.
Financial evidence that shows you or your parents who are sponsoring you has sufficient funds to cover your tuition and living expenses during the period of your intended study.
For example, if you or your sponsor is a salaried employee, please bring income tax documents and original bank books and/or statements. If you or your sponsor owns a business,
please bring business registration, licenses,etc.

Hajj and Umrah Health Requirements

1) Yellow Fever:
 All pilgrims arriving from yellow fever endemic countries* must present a valid certificate of vaccination against the disease, in accordance with international health regulations. The certificate must show that its holder was vaccinated against the disease no less than ten days and no more than ten years before arriving in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

2) Meningococcal Meningitis
Pilgrims from all nations must present a valid certificate of vaccination against Meningococcal Meningitis, showing that the vaccination was administered no less than ten days and no more than three years before their arrival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. All adults and children over the age of two years must have received a single dose of the ACYW135 vaccine.

3) Poliomyelitis
All pilgrims arriving from still-prevalent Polio Virus-transmitting countries* must present certificates of vaccination for children under the age of fifteen years confirming that they have received the oral polio vaccine within six weeks of arriving in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They will be given another dose of the oral polio vaccine upon arrival.

4) Seasonal Influenza
The Ministry of Health recommends that all pilgrims from both inside and outside of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia get vaccinated against the seasonal influenza virus before commencing their Hajj or Umrah journey, especially those most vulnerable to complications from the flu, such as the elderly and people with chronic respiratory diseases, diabetics, and renal, liver and cardiac problems.

5. A proof of custodianship in Canada:
If you are a minor (less than18 years of age)
you must provide a notarized statement signed by your parents or legal guardian in the country
of your origin in addition to a notarized statement signed by the guardian in Canada stating that
sufficient preparations have been made for the guardian in Canada to act on behalf of a parent in times of urgent situation,
for instance when medical attention is required.
